
As part of the University of Ghana’s Strategic Priority 4 on Engagement and Partnership, the Department of Political Science hosted a delegation from Tallinn University, Estonia, on 20th January, 2026 at the Department of Political Science, UG.
The Tallinn University delegation comprised Professor Tiina Pajuste (Law), Professor Raivo Vetik (Politics), Senior Lecturer Catlyn Kirna (Politics), and Ms. Kadri Leit-Tromp (International Cooperation Expert).
The Department was represented by the Head of Department, Professor Isaac Owusu-Mensah, alongside Prof Emmanuel Debrah, Professor Lloyd Amoah, Professor Rosina Foli, Professor Emmanuel Yeboah-Assiamah (Coordinator for Academic Engagements), and Dr. Kwame Asah-Asante (Director, Centre for European Studies). The Administrator of the Department, Sandra Alima Fiawole was present at the meeting.
The engagement explored opportunities for academic collaboration, research partnerships, and staff and student exchanges between the two institutions.
